Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Slowly stir in the buttermilk until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Pour the melted butter into an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the biscuit dough evenly over the butter.
  5. Cut the unbaked dough into 9 squares for easy separation after baking.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  7. Place the baking dish in the air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
