Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine boiled and mashed potatoes with green chili, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, bread crumbs, and salt.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into round, flat patties.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place patties in the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
