Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into round, flat patties.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place patties in the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
