Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess grease.
Stir in garlic powder, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
Add cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture and stir until combined.
Unroll crescent dough and separate into rectangles (press perforations together). Spoon beef mixture onto one side of each rectangle, then fold over and seal edges with a fork.
Place pockets on the prepared baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
Bake for 13–15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
