Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the cabbage into 1-inch thick slices (steaks).
  3. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Wrap each steak with a slice or two of bacon, tucking the ends underneath.
  6. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the cabbage is tender.
  7. Serve warm as a savory low-carb side or light dinner.
