In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined.
Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, filling about 3/4 full.
Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow muffins to cool before serving.
