Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn, husks and silk removed
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature

Instructions

  1. Fill a large stockpot with water, enough to cover the corn.
  2. Stir in sugar and salt; bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. Add corn and boil for 8-10 minutes, or until tender and bright yellow.
  4. Remove corn from water and drain well.
  5. Serve hot with butter.
