Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot preferred)
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup club soda (optional, for topping off)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, brandy, and orange liqueur.
  2. Add sliced apple, orange, pear, cinnamon stick, and maple syrup.
  3. Stir in the pomegranate juice and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, pour into glasses over ice and top with club soda if desired.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of fruit.
