Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, salt, and apple cider drink mix until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and flour.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until dough forms.
Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls, flatten slightly, and place half a caramel candy in the center. Wrap dough around caramel to seal.
Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 12-14 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
