Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and flatten each piece.
  4. Place a small amount of shredded mozzarella in the center of each portion and roll into a meatball, sealing the cheese inside.
  5. Place meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Warm the marinara sauce in a pan and pour over the baked meatballs.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
