Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the top off the French bread and hollow out the center, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges.
In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Fill the hollowed-out bread with the chicken mixture, pressing it down gently to pack it in.
Brush the top with melted butter.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Slice and serve warm.
