Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and chicken broth. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, pour in the sauce mixture, and toss everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot with rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
