Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9x13-inch pan and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and corn syrup. Stir frequently until the mixture begins to boil.
  3. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture into the prepared pan using a greased spatula.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  7. Spread the chocolate-butterscotch mixture over the cereal layer evenly.
  8. Let cool at room temperature or refrigerate until set. Cut into squares and enjoy.
