Ingredients

  • 2 oz whiskey (bourbon preferred)
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 3/4 oz maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Ice
  • Lemon wheel or cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add whiskey, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cinnamon to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with a lemon wheel or a cinnamon stick, if desired.
