Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onion and garlic, cooking until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens.
Return chicken to the skillet and stir in cooked pasta. Toss to coat evenly with sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
