Ingredients

  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ball burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, then add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  5. Toss cooked gnocchi in the sauce until well coated.
  6. Transfer to serving plates, top with burrata, and garnish with fresh basil.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
