Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for brushing)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, black pepper, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and enough water to make a thick batter.
  3. Coat each cauliflower floret with the batter.
  4. Arrange the coated florets in the air fryer basket. Lightly brush or spray with oil.
  5. Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, heat a pan and sauté onions, bell peppers, and green chilies until slightly soft.
  7. Add soy sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Stir well.
  8. Toss the air-fried cauliflower into the sauce and coat evenly.
  9. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
