Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (slurry)
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange chicken pieces in a single layer.
  4. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  7. Toss the crispy chicken with the orange sauce until well coated.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
