Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying
  • Tonkatsu sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each piece in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry each chicken piece until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Drain excess oil on a paper towel and serve with tonkatsu sauce.
