Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/4 cup finely diced bell pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties (about 2 inches in diameter).
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the croquettes for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
