Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle of beer (or additional water)
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb small red potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 ears corn, halved
  • 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Add water, beer, Old Bay seasoning, and salt to a large slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Add potatoes and onion. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or until potatoes are just tender.
  3. Add sausage and corn. Cover and cook for another 1 hour.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  5. Drain liquid, then drizzle melted butter over the top and toss gently.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
