Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pastel chocolate eggs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg, almond extract, and sliced almonds until creamy.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and arrange triangles in a circle on the baking sheet with the wide ends slightly overlapping in the center.
  4. Spoon the almond filling over the dough ring, then fold the points of the triangles over the filling and tuck under the wide ends to form a ring.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to create a glaze. Drizzle over the cooled ring.
  7. Decorate with pastel chocolate eggs in the center to resemble a nest. Serve and enjoy!
