Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and stir in flour until a dough forms and pulls away from the sides.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition until smooth.
  5. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  6. Line air fryer basket with parchment and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  7. Pipe 1- to 2-inch dough segments directly into the basket.
  8. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Toss warm churro bites in the mixture until fully coated.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
