Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Top each chicken breast with tomato slices and mozzarella.
Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from oven and top with fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
