Ingredients

  • 6 large croissants
  • 12 slices of deli ham
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each croissant in half horizontally. Spread the bottom half with a thin layer of Dijon mustard and honey.
  3. Layer 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese inside each croissant, then place the tops back on.
  4. Arrange the filled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds. Brush the tops of the croissants with the mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the croissants are golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
