Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar until well combined.
Place chicken in a lightly greased baking dish and spread the brown sugar garlic mixture evenly on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
