Ingredients

  • 8 lb bone-in fully cooked spiral ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Place the ham cut side down in a large roasting pan and cover it loosely with foil.
  2. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes (about 10 minutes per pound).
  3. While the ham is baking, make the glaze: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, and cloves.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. After the ham has baked for 1 hour and 15 minutes, remove the foil and generously brush the glaze over the entire surface.
  6. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30–45 minutes, brushing with glaze every 10–15 minutes.
  7. Let the ham rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
