Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter. Once hot, add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Lower the heat to medium, add minced garlic to the same skillet, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Add cream cheese cubes, parmesan, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. Stir continuously until the cream cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
