Ingredients

  • 8 string cheese sticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Cut each string cheese stick in half to create 16 pieces.
  2. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a third.
  3. Dredge each cheese piece in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place coated cheese bites on a tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes to prevent melting while frying.

  6. Fry cheese bites in small batches for about 30-45 seconds until golden brown and crispy.
