Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500g) boneless chicken, chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy.
  5. Mix in red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
  6. Add chicken pieces and cook on medium heat until fully cooked and coated with masala.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
