Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top.
Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels, then place them in a large bowl.
Drizzle the drumsticks with avocado oil, then add garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Toss everything together until the drumsticks are well coated with the oil and seasonings.
Place the drumsticks on the wire rack, spacing them out evenly.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let rest a few minutes before serving hot.
