Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, cut slits 3/4 of the way through the thawed bread dough at 1-inch intervals.
  3. Place the dough into the greased pan and gently fan the sections outward.
  4. Brush melted butter over the entire surface, making sure it gets into the slits.
  5. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle generously over the bread, including in between the slices.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. In another small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth to make a glaze.
  8. Drizzle glaze over the warm bread before serving.
