Ingredients

  • 1 loaf brioche bread, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Butter or oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar and maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add the brioche cubes to the bowl and gently stir to coat them evenly.
  3. Heat butter or oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the soaked bread cubes in batches and cook, turning often, until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Transfer cooked bites to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  6. Serve warm with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
