Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  4. Divide dough into 6 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  5. Use a rolling pin to flatten each ball into a thin round flatbread.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brush lightly with oil.
  7. Cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and puffed.
  8. Stack flatbreads and cover with a clean towel to keep warm before serving.
