Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken tenders with buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Dredge marinated chicken tenders in flour, coating well on all sides.
  4. Fry in batches for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat honey, hot sauce, and butter over low heat until melted and combined.
  6. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the fried tenders or serve it as a dipping sauce.
