Dissolve cherry gelatin in boiling water. Add crushed pineapple and stir well.
In a separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, lemon gelatin, and lime gelatin. Mix thoroughly.
Fold in whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Stir in chopped pistachios and maraschino cherries.
Layer the cherry mixture at the bottom of a dish. Chill for 1 hour.
Top with the lemon-lime-pistachio mixture. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Slice and serve chilled.
