Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini pretzels, broken
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers and smooth out with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes to set the toffee.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
  7. Sprinkle broken pretzels and chopped peanuts over the chocolate layer.
  8. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until fully set. Break into pieces and enjoy!
