Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups warm water (110°F)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 to 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a half sheet pan (13x18 inches) with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, sugar, and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add salt and 3 cups of flour to the yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms. Gradually add more flour as needed.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough on the greased sheet pan and stretch it to fill the pan. Let rise for 20–25 minutes, covered loosely.
  6. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Use a pizza cutter to score breadstick lines into the dough before baking.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly, re-cut, and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
