Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs skin-side up in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the soy garlic mixture evenly over the chicken.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, basting once halfway through, until chicken is cooked through and golden.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
