Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
  • Sour cream, for topping
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Jalapeño slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Flatten each biscuit and press into the muffin tin cups.
  5. Spoon a layer of salsa into each biscuit cup, followed by the taco meat, and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Top with sour cream, green onions, and jalapeño slices if desired.
