Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the cooked beef and all remaining ingredients to a slow cooker.
  3. Stir to combine everything well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving.
