Easy Strawberry Pie Recipe With Fresh Berries

- 1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (3 oz) box strawberry gelatin
- 1 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together sugar, water, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Cook while stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and turns clear.
- Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin until dissolved.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Arrange the fresh strawberries in the pie crust, then pour the gelatin mixture evenly over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set before serving.
