Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 cups cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
  5. Add chopped green onions and sesame seeds, stirring well.
  6. Serve hot over cooked white rice.
