Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Crusty bread, for serving
  • 1/2 lemon, for squeezing

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Season with salt and stir in the chopped parsley.
  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges and crusty bread to soak up the garlicky oil.
