Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water.
Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss until well coated in the sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
