Ingredients

  • 4 thick-cut pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat pork chops dry and generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and almost cooked through.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, and rosemary to the pan.
  5. Tilt the pan slightly and spoon the melted garlic butter over the chops continuously for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove pork chops from heat, rest for a few minutes, then serve with pan juices spooned over top.
