Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Chopped parsley or cilantro, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, to serve

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add prawns, salt, and pepper. Cook until prawns turn pink, about 1-2 minutes each side.
  4. Pour in chicken stock and oyster sauce. Stir and let simmer for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
