Spread peanut butter evenly on one side of a slice of bread.
Top with the second slice to make a sandwich.
Lightly butter the outside of both slices of bread.
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Place the sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden.
Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until both sides are crispy and golden brown.
Slice and serve warm. Enjoy as is, or add your favorite jam for a twist!
