Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Punch down dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Roll each into a ball, then flatten into an oval (about 1/4-inch thick).
Heat a skillet over medium-high. Cook each naan (no oil needed), about 1-2 minutes per side, until golden bubbles form.
Brush warm naan with melted butter. Sprinkle with parsley or cilantro, if desired. Serve warm.
