Ingredients

  • 10 small corn tortillas
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: lime juice or chili powder for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cut tortillas into triangle-shaped wedges.
  2. Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Fry tortilla wedges in batches for about 2 minutes per side or until golden and crisp.
  4. Use tongs to transfer chips to a paper towel-lined plate.
  5. Immediately sprinkle with salt and optional seasonings while warm.
