Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken.
Add cream cheese on top of the chicken.
Pour in chicken broth.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
Shred the chicken with two forks inside the crock pot.
Stir in cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
Top with green onions before serving, if desired.
